KIRO ballistic glasses are made of PC and come with three lenses – one clear, the second yellow, and the third gray. These lenses are supposed to provide a comprehensive solution for almost any terrain conditions you find yourself in.

The glasses underwent ballistic testing according to the MIL-PRF-32432 military standard at the MyWall laboratory.

Features

• The glasses come with three different colored lenses that can be easily replaced; each color provides different benefits that allow you to adapt the glasses to the situation you are in:
  • Clear lenses
    • They provide good performance in dark lighting conditions and help protect your eyes from foreign objects and UV rays that can harm your eyes.
  • Yellow lenses
    • Improves contrast and depth perception. They are very effective for nighttime, foggy or cloudy conditions. The yellow lenses improve contrast by effectively filtering out blue light.
    • Hunters, pilots, and tennis players will find these lenses very effective for their use.
  • Gray lenses
    • The most common lens color. This color dims bright light, thereby easing eye strain and allowing you to get a clearer image when looking directly at very bright objects.
    • This lens color dims the light but doesn’t change the color you see!
    • These lenses will be very effective for water sports and similar sports.
• The lenses are made of polycarbonate (PC), a material that provides very high resistance to impact and has high resistance to UV rays.

How to maintain eyeglass lenses?

There are three steps to properly cleaning and maintaining your eyeglass lenses:

1. Gently remove dust and dirt with compressed air. Sometimes blowing is enough.
2. Rinse the lenses with cold water or with a lens cleaning spray. A regular eyeglass cleaning spray will do the job.
3. Use the lens cleaning cloth (included with your glasses) to dry and clean your lenses. Then, let them air dry before wearing them.

• It is important to note that only soft microfiber cloths designed for cleaning lenses are used.
• To protect your lenses, it is not recommended to put them in your pocket or anywhere else without a cover.
